Municpal Elections
The City Clerk is responsible for the administration of special and consolidated municipal elections for the City of Arcata in accordance with the Arcata Municipal Code and the California Elections Code. The election process begins mid-May of even-numbered years. General municipal elections are held on the same day as statewide general elections, on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each even year.
